When Morre and I got to Café Opera, there were three queues.. and of course, we managed to be in the wrong queue. But once inside it was a good atmosphere with nice people and good music. =) E.M.D., Newkid and Locnville played. The last two I hadn't even heard of before.. but it's always fun to discover new artists.

Hämnden (In a better world)

Last week I saw a preview of the movie Hämnden (In a better world) with Mikael Persbrandt. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie, I thought it would be boring.. but it wasn't.

Say what

I rarely get error messages on my computer but when I get them they are usually weird. Look at the photo.. Here is a translation: "The following program is still running: Shut down. This program prevents the computer from shutting down". How is that even possible? :/

Back to the seventies

..at Golden Hits anyway. =) Some friends and I went to see a 70's show last Friday. The performers not only served music and humor but also good food. =) I thought it was a really fun evening. I'd be happy to do this again some day. :)

The blind side

I'm not good at updating my blog. I haven't really recovered from the vacation yet.. everything is like mañana, mañana. =) Well, this Tuesday Morre and I went to see the movie The blind side (thanks to Finest.se and Headweb). It was surprisingly good, the time went really fast (which according to me is a pretty good sign that the movie is entertaining). We were served healthy Vitaminwater and popcorn too.. yum! Morre and I didn't go to Hotellet afterwards, we went to Café Opera instead where we stayed for an hour or so.

Vacation day 52

After traveling through a half boring Germany and a very boring Denmark we reached Helsingør. After waiting a while, we went on the boat and then drove the loooooong way home through Sweden. The whole time I felt like going back to Spain.. but I'll return there another time.. maybe next summer.

Vacation day 51

We slept a few hours at a resting place along the road in Switzerland. Then we went further north through the mountains. It was cool to go through the San Bernardino Pass.. 6.6 km tunnel, now that's not something you drive through every day. =) Since we have never been in Liechtenstein, we checked out Vaduz. The town was really small.. but cute.

Vacation day 50

It's pretty hard to sit still in the car for too long so Morre and I stopped every now and then and stretched our legs. Some picnic areas are quite lovely. =) In the afternoon we saw a sign that read, Saint-Tropez, so of course we went there. It was a really nice town.. despite all the tourists. I like to go there again. One place I don't want to visit again is Cannes. We had intended to stay there for a while but everyone was so stressed out in the traffic on the narrow, steep roads.. and we couldn't find any parking space, so we went on to Monaco. There we parked the car and walked along the pier and took some pictures before the sun went down.

Vacation day 49

Today we began the journey back to Sweden. We just did a quick stop in a town west of Valencia: Torrent. There was nothing of interest to see.. but the name of the town was fun anyway. :D

Vacation day 48

Our last day in Spain was celebrated with fireworks. =) It was just a coincidence that we saw in the newspaper that Cartagena would have fireworks around midnight. We went there and it was among the best I have seen. Awesome!

Vacation day 46 (still)

Today we went to La Manga. We walked around a bit along the lighthouse. The rocks by the water were pretty sharp. In some places, there was salt.. and because I'm curious I had to try it.. and it tasted at least 10 times saltier than regular table salt. After La Manga we went to Cartagena and watched the boats again and a store where everything cost 2 euros. Some things were just crap but there were some neat stuff. I bought two bracelets that are pretty cool. =) When we walked along the quay people suddenly told us to stand aside. At first we didn't know why.. but a moment later people ran by. They had a contest for people of different ages.. poor kids looked exhausted when they ran towards the goal.

I lied when I wrote in the previous blog post about how hot it was.. it wasn't +38 degrees Celsius when I went out.. it was +40.

On Friday Morre and I came back to a cold Sweden. I slept most of the time..
